Yung Kephas never gives up. Fall 9 times get up 10. A husband, father and brother, sometimes the weight of the world is on his shoulders. Imperfect, but made perfect by Elohim. Experience, tough experiences have taught him. From losing one of his children, to several siblings, and surviving the loneliness of a world that for a while seemed strangely dim...Kephas just wants to share the beauty of rising from those ashes.
Elijah Lee Kephas is from the hardened world of St. Louis, Missouri, with native, West African and Philippino heritage. Touring 61 cities in the US, Canada and Japan has given him a perspective on the arts and hip-hop that he could not quantify. Still, Kephas' music demands authenticity, truth and his unique view of wanting to show the listener a life cycle with every composition. Welcome to his world through your ears.
